the best gift is happiness

On Wendesday March 23, it was my 20th birthday.
Prior to that date, I went to go donate my hair to Locks of Love.
My first time I donated my hair was a few years back, maybe when I was 14, I donated 10 inches.
My second time for donation was when i was 17, the hair was 17 inches. lol do you see the correlation?
And just a few days ago, I went ahead and donated 15 inches, because I knew someone out there will want my hair more than i do :)
I donated a total of 40 inches over the past six years, and it feels very good.

A philosophy I grew up with was, to treat people the way you want to be treated.
Go ahead and disagree, because we do have different perspectives then the next person.
Smiling is simple, or holding the door open for the person behind you, small things add up.
It would be great if most people lived in a positive perspective like this, but at the end, we just have to be thankful.
"Don't be thankful for what you don't go, be thankful for what you do got" (Drake)

Big DM23 Pink review

I was so excited and happy to get my first set of Pink circle lens!
I wanted a different approach on color contacts, and Pink is not normal.
So I was super excited to try color contacts that were not neutral (not brown, hazel, blue, etc.)
These are my 12th circle lens that I have purchased.
My first review, just for fun. ^^
(with flash to see overall color)

Weight: 0 kg, 100 grams
Stock: Stock available
Brand : G&G
Diameter : 14.5mm
Water Content : 38%
Base Curve : 8.6mm
Life Span : 1 year disposal

POSITIVES:
Overall comfort throughout the day. (i thought 14.5mm would dry me out o.o)
Great enlarging effect.
Soft and subtle, not bold.

NEGATIVES:
Pink color not as vibrant has I want it to be.
If the pink stood out, these lens would have been much better ^^

(with flash) where you can the see the pink visibly
(lighting from window) pink looks nice here too ^^

Lolita Meet #9

This is my 4th meet that I have been to since I have been introduced into this lovely lolita fa-shawwn.
Lovely Alisa and I met at Teazers for a drink and to make our way to the meet in the city 40miles away.
Im so happy that she came back from her trip to Japan!
Wanted to hear all her adventures and visits she did to all the lolita stores ^A^
And she was so sweet as to bring all of us cute gifts ^^
above girls (alisa, amanda, me, eiri, courtney, & kris)

Our most recent meet that our group met at was located in Visalia, called Adventure Park.
I was so happy and thrilled to go! If you know me already, arcade equals love.
Since this meet was our 'extracurricular' meet, most of us wore Bodyline and off brand.
We don't want to ruin our nicest outift ^^
So I wore my first skirt I have ever purchased for lolita, which was the Love Nadia sax blue high waist skirt. I've always wanted to wear this for a long time, since I haven't coordinated with it. My blouse was offbrand, white stockings and blue flats from Target. And my big white headbow from Angelic Pretty (Cross Pin Tuck Ribbon Alice Band)

The girls were planning on playing laser tag, but I decided not to because I felt uneasy in the dark >.>

Felt bad, but at least they had fun! I love playing Dance Dance Revolution, so I stayed and played a few more rounds of that :D And batting cages <3

Then finally, we went for dinner.....gosh I had not eaten anything all day long GAHHH
I was so happy to go to a buffet, the fatty that I am NOM NOM NOM

BTSSB Pony in Sweet Dream in pink JSK

This is my fist BTSSB item i ever purchased!
but its not my favorite, because i dont like BabyDoll cuts on me :(

I got the dress back in Spring 2010, this was the first time i had visited the Baby the Star Shine Bright Store, I was so excited to buy a dress.
I love the print! thats why i had purchased it, but since i wasn't familiar with the all the lolita cuts and styles, the Pony in Sweet Dream is actually a baby doll cut. The doll cut is cute and baby-ie, but i don't like how the dress looks on
me, maybe on somebody else.
When i went to PMX for my first time in November 2010, the were selling packs for $35. In these packs were a bonnet (Pony in
Sweet Dream pink, black, white), socks,
and a stationary set. I thought this was such a deal because the bonnet alone is priced for $70+. But this print is so rare, I mean i haven't seen any lolita wear this OP, JSK, or Skirt. But luckily I do have a JSK in that print! so i just had to buy it.
Overall i was happy to have a full matching coordination, but at the end, the Doll style is not for me.

i have to make sure all my dresses are clean!
nothings better than having a clean lolita outift, but at the end, the yellowish color is still there, but the dry cleaners did take the most of it off :(

gundam cherudim

So I finished my 2nd gundam. Since it was a 'no grade' i figured it'll be cool to paint the whole figure. This time i wanted to try spray cans other than Tamiya, so i went to walmart and got krylon fusion 'bond to plastic' paint. And it works! They don't have a wide variety, so the colors i purchased were Yellow sunbeam, Huntergreen, and Satin White. The green was off i think, a shade, but it came out fine. No stickers, cause my boyfriend and i both agree they are dumb.

And for the gun, i actually used two Tamiya colors: first was a light gray, then over it was Gun Metal, but very fine, so that Gun Metal gives that 'gun metal' shine onto the gray.

And i used Tamiya Italian Red, cause thats the only red my boyfriend had.
